Complex technology made portable. The 3M projector integrates technical density, heat management and operability into a compact object through three coordinated decisions: the air outlet runs laterally along the full length of the lower shell, turning a thermal necessity into a design element; optics and LCD display are raised in a single operating step through mechanical coupling; and the curved dividing line between the shells, together with the cylindrically emphasised hinge, communicate the opening gesture before it is performed. Form anticipates function.
